Taken from the forest of Roma Island, Southwest Maluku Regency, Maluku Province, ROMADU, 100% pure forest honey without preservatives. This honey is taken from the steep cliffs in the forest. Farmers is struggle to take it in tradisional ways but it is a source of livehood for the generations. And it is the main source of livelihood for the lokal people. However, the seling value of Thio honey is still very low. Therefore, we make a premmium psckaging from glass to raise up the seling value. And to reach a wider market, Romadu is packaged in an economical package, namely a 3-pack of sachets.

This business was starter by my grandps in the 80an. At the beginning, we didn’t have a good brand and packaging. We only used regular bottles without brands. On 2016, I then thought about branding this three generator honey business with the name ROMADU. Which is an abbreviation of Roma and Madu which means honey that come from Roma Island, Southwest Maluku (MBD). Forest honey is one of the main livelihoods on Roma Island and is characteristic of the area. This has also promoted the development of ROMADU branding with the intention of advancing regional characteristics with the dream of helping forest honey farmer in their native areas to become products with modern branding and packaging so that Romadu can go through the global Market.
