PDM stands for Darul Mursyid Islamic Boarding School in Sipirok. Yes, this is a boarding school like most. The difference is that this pesantren has its own coffee plantation and processing factory, and even markets it itself to other cities and abroad. The coffee produced also varies, with the most expensive coffee being quality civet coffee. PDM Coffee through its coffee plantations wants to prosper local coffee farmers to promote Indonesian coffee.
