Dorsata Forest Honey from SUHITA BEE FARM

Apis dorsata is a wild stinging bee that cannot be cultivated. The general public named it: sialang bee, gung wasp, odeng, unit, etc. Dorsata is a bee with a single nest. This type of honey is very rich in bee pollen or flower pollen.

Dorsata has the farthest flying range, in a day it can fly 90km. Suhita dorsata honey is a multi-flora honey, namely honey that comes from the nectar of various kinds of plants and flowers in the Sumatran forest. Harvested with a sustainable system and under strict supervision to ensure hygiene aspects.

Pure without a mixture of other ingredients because it is directly from their own farm by bee farmers who have been educated in handling the honey harvesting process. Without going through the process of heating and pasteurization/thickening because these processes can damage the quality of honey and decrease the quality of honey such as loss of diastase enzymes and high HMF.

Notes :

** Honey from this type of Apis Dorsata bee is very easy to undergo physical changes such as Granulation / Freezing / Natural Crystallization. However, even though it has changed in shape, it does not reduce the benefits of this honey and it is still very suitable for consumption. Therefore, we are planning to pack honey from this type of bee with jar packaging to make it easier to consume even if the honey freezes.
