Gorohos are chips from Goroho Bananas which are a type of banana that grows a lot in Eastern Indonesia, especially in North Sulawesi. Goroho bananas which in Latin are known as Musa Acuminafe sp, Goroho bananas have a taste like potatoes. Goroho bananas are unique, because to consume them they must be processed first by burning, boiling or frying. In North Sulawesi, Gorohoss Bananas are often consumed with the typical Manado Roa sauce.
