Lubuk Cuik village has a large chili land. Almost 98% of the people have been growing chili since 2008 until now. Since the cost of treating chili plants, such as expensive fertilizers, is high enough and the price of fresh chilies collapses when prices are low, farmers will suffer significant losses. Therefore, I have taken the initiative to produce processed chili derivatives such as chili powder, emping pedan and roasted onions since 2019.
