Batik Phokouw Faa

In Papua traditional language (Sentanese), Phokouw means spring and Faa means child. Phokouw Faa Boutique was founded in 2009. Phokouw Faa Boutique produces stamped and hand-drawn batik with various motifs originated from Sentani Region. Some of the motifs were snail motifs, turtle motifs, butterflies, birds of paradise (Cendrawasih), fish tails (Yonik), and various other motifs. Apart from producing batik, Phokouw Faa Boutique also organize batik training for anyone who wants to learn.
