MSME Profile
Batik Maos has existed since the 18th century, which was brought by Surakarta palace officials who traveled to the Maos area. Batik Maos experienced its heyday and became famous around 1960-1980 and gradually died out because it was unable to compete with batik from Pekalongan, Yogyakarta and Solo. Then in 2007 Tonik and his wife Euis Rohaini revived the spirit of the Batik Maos business which was labeled Batik Maos RAJASAMAS. Until now, the marketing of Batik Rajasamas products is not only in Indonesia, but also reaches abroad, namely to England and South Korea.
